CFCPIX (coming soon)

It was great working on this nice little gallery-focused site for professional photographer Charlotte Clements. Charlotte has a truly unique style when it comes to taking portraits and capturing the beauty of human emotions on wedding day. We thought she should have a design that didn't distract the user from her work. Additionally, sharing tools will help promote her brand and her work in the online community of the wedding circuit.

The Sapphire Room

The Sapphire Room is Peterborough's premier destination for martinis, cocktails, and stimulating nightlife. Owned and operated by Chad and Kerri, The Sapphire Room approached us for a website that emulated the feel and aesthetic of their establishment. With up-to-date event listings and a tie-in to their community on Facebook, we have shown them how their website can increase their profile by interacting with and engaging their market.

Treehouse Furniture Company

Another word-of-mouth gig. We love those. Makes us feel warm and special. We were put on to Daren's project through Michelle Donnely who does a lot of design work for some major clients. Daren's work is truly unique - incorporating all sorts of natural materials he collects and antiques he modifies, no two of his creations are alike. He wanted his site to reflect the elegance and natural beauty of his work with the wood grain graphic as a central unifying theme.

Ontario Biofuels

We met Mark, founder of Ontario Biofuels, when we were still students and instantly wanted to get involved in his venture. Mark's business is mainly on the road finding new sources of waste oil to convert into biodiesel - a usable, environmentally friendly source of energy with zero emissions! We're currently at work on a server-side database for Mark and his partner that will dynamically update content for them and will let them know when a pickup needs to be made. Pretty cool stuff.

Natas Café

Natas Café in downtown Peterborough Ontario serves what is probably the best coffee we've ever had. They also serve some great food. When Delia and Steve set up this place it was clear how successful they'd be, and we went to them immediately to offer to build their site. It was a great developmental project, involving a lot of programming going into a back end, client-side content management system so that they can edit and update their own content quickly and easily. With Natas Café, Squidthink is very proud to introduce their customizable content management software designed with the small to medium sized business in mind!

Canadian Pony Club 2008 National Quiz

Some of the greatest sports are the hardest because they are not only physically demanding, but also mentally challenging. In horse-back riding it is vital that riders study to retain a vast amount of information about technique and a horse's health and maintenance. National Quiz is a yearly competition in which riders are tested and graded in a variety of ways that test their knowledge and experience. When we developed the page for this year's event we had content delivered and a list of sponsors to represent in a tasteful way. We liked the graphical strength of this layout and how strongly it echoes a scholarly vibe.
